Skillshare – How to Draw Cute Chibi Anime Characters

Hello I am Boba an Illustrator! In this class I will be going over how you can turn you favorite anime or cartoon characters into cute Chibis. We will be going over the basic building block of proportioning the character out to give it that cute chibi look. After that we will extract key details of the original character and reference to detail out our drawing. Finally with a few tools we will add color and shadow to our creations! Class Content

Rough Sketch - We will learn how to start a sketch lightly and quickly to block out our design.
Simple Line art- After that we will learn how to do a line art pass to clean up our drawing.
Fill in Color- Using the reference we will be filling in each area of the design with flat colors.
Painting shadows - The final step will to add a splash of shadows to add dimension to our drawings!
