In this ridiculously fun After Effects training course, join Adobe Certified Instructor Chad Perkins as we go through how to create 8-bit video game worlds styled after classic console games. In the first half, we’ll create a world inspired by the original Sonic the Hedgehog game for Sega Genesis. Then, you’ll try to create your own world patterned after Super Mario Bros. from Nintendo. Finally, we’ll look at a bonus tip on how to make live action footage feel like it belongs in a vintage video game, as well as a collection of other tips and tricks to try on your own. Throughout the course we’ll focus on doing things efficiently, as well as using lesser known tools and techniques. This course is suitable for all skill levels and is incredibly entertaining from start to finish.
