XYZ School – OutBlock (RUS)

You will learn the fundamental knowledge of game level design.
You will learn about blockouts, metrics, visual language, composition, light, navigation, as well as perception and work with different types of spaces. And that's not all! You will learn the fundamental knowledge of game level design.
We will learn not only to move the models around the stage, but to put meaning in them, to form emotions and game experience that players experience.
The mission of our course is the conscious design of gameplay, through geometry alone and working with its perception by the player.
The course focuses as much as possible on blockouts (blockout / graybox, etc.) - this is the main tool for level prototyping. Its earliest iterations, where the designer lays the maximum functionality and looks for solutions for how players will interact with the environment.
During the course you will create your own prototype of the game level. You will form its gameplay, idea, rhythm - and you can play it yourself.

Ты изучишь фундаментальные знания проектирования игровых уровней.
Узнаешь про блокауты, метрики, визуальный язык, композицию, свет, навигацию, а так же восприятие и работу с разными типами пространств. И это далеко не все! Ты изучишь фундаментальные знания проектирования игровых уровней.
Научимся не просто двигать модели по сцене, а вкладывать в них смысл, формировать эмоции и игровой опыт, которые испытывают игроки.
Миссия нашего курса - осознанное проектирование геймплея, посредством одной лишь геометрии и работы с ее восприятием игроком.
Курс максимально сфокусирован на блокаутах (blockout/graybox и тд) - это основной инструмент прототипирования уровней. Самые ранние его итерации, где дизайнер закладывает максимум функционала и ищет решения того как игроки будут взаимодействовать с окружением.
За время курса ты создашь свой прототип игрового уровня. Сформируешь его геймплей, идею, ритм - и сам сможешь в него поиграть.
