This course will introduce you to character rigging in Cinema 4D. Aimed at users new to rigging, we take you step by step through the process of building a complete character rig from the ground up. We supply both the base mesh and the final rigged character textured and lit for Cinema 4D’s Physical Renderer, Octane and Redshift Renderers, so you can dive into the rig immediately if you prefer.
In this course we cover the fundamentals of the role of the Technical Animator or Rigger. We will create, node by node, a game ready animation rig ready to deploy into the Unity Game Engine. Along the way we will cover the fundamental concepts of rigging inside Houdini, and create a range of reusable rigging tools using Python and Houdini Digital Assets.
Welcome to the Hard-Surface Rigging in Blender course. This is the beginner's guide to mechanical rigging in Blender, presented by rigging and animation guru Jeannot Landry and co-produced by the Creative Shrimp team.
A look at facial rigging with animated feature films in mind. We will create a fully functioning face rig, looking at one element at a time so that anyone can follow along with the workshop and get something out of it.
This course was created last time I was teaching at The Animation Workshop, Denmark. Its a full biped rigging course going from a simple start and upgrading our rig. Its showing a ton of techniques that can be applied to your own rigs.
This course teaches body rigging. Students build on the basic concepts and learn more complete full body rigging. Rigging controls like forward/inverse kinematics, twisting, and world/local constraints are added for ease of use during posing. Then shapes and customizations are applied to refine deformations. Student learn about multiplier attributes, lattices, wrap, nonlinear, and wire deformers, beginning Python scripting, ribbons, follicles,
An introduction to the principles of rigging, applied to simple objects and scenarios. In order for any 3D animation to happen, riggers (Character Technical Directors) take a completed character or prop model and use the concepts learned in this class to prepare it for deformation and action. Riggers insert bones (joints) into the character and refine the shapes and control systems so the character can act. Students learn basic rigging concepts
In this course, 3D Artist Julien Kaspar from the Blender Animation Studio will give a detailed guide on how to create a stylized character for film production. This series of videos will encompass the entire 3D creation workflow from the early design process, modeling & UV unwrapping, texturing & shading, all the way to the final posing, presentation & lighting setup and getting the model ready for rigging.
