This course is in depth lecture on how to create Highend pyro FX using Houdini and how to create a custom solver to achieve a unique look. This course focuses on rendering highend volumes and explosions using Arnold. We will start from week1 by building a good understanding of how smoke solver works in Houdini and create two simulations, the Tank shockwave and Rebelway logo as an exercise.
This course is designed for people who have a good understanding of CG and interested in gaining a full understanding of Houdini and how to properly utilize it’s capacity to create particles FX, water simulation, destruction and volume simulation.The course will also cover in depth how to render the various FX elements and how to composite them using Houdini COPs
This course is designed for people who have a good understanding of CG and interested in gaining a full understanding of houdini and how to utilise it’s procedural modeling tools to create 3d assets, create environment, shade and render using mantra as well as learn how to composite using Houdini COPs.
