Character Design: From First Idea to Final Illustration

Skillshare - Character Design: From First Idea to Final Illustration

Whether you’re drawing characters to go along with Jazza’s or working from your own idea, use the project space to share your final presentation and the process you followed to get there. That means you shouldn’t be afraid to show us:

Any inspiration you referenced along the way
Your initial brainstorm sketches
Your character testing and refinement
Your final presentation, whether that be a character turnaround, expression sheet, or ensemble picture!

The best part of this design process is that you can use it again and again to create truly memorable illustrated characters. If you go through the process again for a new idea, make sure to come back and update your project to share your new designs! We can’t wait to see the unique characters that come out of your head.
