Unity is the leading platform for creating games, building 3D environments for architectural, engineering, and automotive industries, and even short films. Needless to say, if you’re looking for a one-stop shop solution for real time 3D development, Unity is the platform to know. Hi, I’m Mannie Henry. And Unity is my 3D platform of choice. And it’ll be my pleasure to take you on a journey from beginner to savvy with Unity. We’ll first take a look at how to properly set up Unity. Then, we’ll take a look at the interface and all it’s major UI sections. Second, we’ll get started working with assets inside of Unity and follow with materials management. Next, we’ll take a look at prefabs. What they are, how to work with them, and we’ll explore level building with Pro Builder. Then we’ll follow with how to create and implement animations. Take a look at collisions. and how to work with audio and lighting. Lastly, we’ll explore scripting, baking lighting, special effects, post-processing tools, the timeline editor, and presentation options.
