Maya Techniques HyperReal Creature Anatomy I
This Master Class will discuss and demonstrate techniques used to create and manipulate the anatomy of a realistic cg creature. This is the first class in a two part series, Hyper Real Anatomy I & II. The focus of this first course will be to introduce, develop, and reinforce a thorough understanding of anatomy and how it relates to the underlying structures used to create a fantastic cg creature. Whether during the modeling process, joint/skeletal placement or deformation process, a strong foundation of anatomy combined with having great anatomy reference at your fingertips is a truly priceless asset to have. Our course will reinforce this concept by outlining many of the various aspects in which knowledge and understanding of anatomy comes into play when creating a hyper realistic cg character or creature, and will explain each aspect in the documentation, as well as through examples with supplied sample files.
