Skillshare – Design a minimal geometric scene in Blender 2.8
Skillshare – Design a minimal geometric scene in Blender 2.8 by Rany Bechara
In this class, I will teach you how to design a minimal geometric scene in Blender 3D.
We will use simple geometric shapes and lay them out, light the scene, use a colour palette and shaders to set the materials and render a final image.
The resources you need are:
Blender which you can download from http://www.blender.org/
http://colorhunt.co/ to choose a colour palette of your liking.
This is a beginner’s tutorial, but it is expected that you have some basic knowledge of the Blender interface.
Follow this link for the official fundamentals playlist if you have never used the software.
I will guide you through the whole process of creating the scene as follows:
Creating objects using simple modelling techniques.
Laying out the scene and setting up the camera using guides.
Lighting.
Shading and materials setup.
Rendering and final touches.
Project Description
At the end of this class, you will be able to create your own minimal geometric scene using shapes and colours of your choice.
Share your images in the projects section and I will be glad to give you feedback and answer any questions you might have.
