Description
This course combines 2D traditional and digital skills which are the foundation for a game graphics artists whether you are pursuing a 2D or 3D career. It will also show you how to avoid beginners mistakes when creating 2d game graphics. We start with the principles of light, shadow and perspective and then move on to digital graphics inside of Photoshop. The course is broken down into 4 weeks/stages. Each week there is a homework assignment which is designed to develop your skill and imagination. What makes the game course unique is that it combines traditional and digital skills together into the same course.
*Update 25.2.18 we have now added a brand new Figure construction module a collaboration with Game Art Co & The Drawery Workshop. You will learn an effective & simplified method for proportion, structure and constructing the figure in 3d space designed for the complete beginner!
