How to install these plug-ins to Maya 2018:

1) Navigate to Users --> [your username]--> Documents --> maya --> 2018

2) Paste/Merge both of the supplied "plug-ins" and "scripts" folders from your FXGear download into the above Maya\2018 directory.

3) Within the same directory, open your "Maya.env" file with Notepad, then add the following 2 lines at the bottom:

MAYA_PLUG_IN_PATH = C:\Users\[your username]\Documents\maya\2018\plug-ins
MAYA_SCRIPT_PATH = C:\Users\[your username]\Documents\maya\2018\scripts

4) Open Maya --> Windows --> Settings/Preferences --> Plug-in Manager.

5) Set load + auto load for the relevant qualoth/fxhair plugins.

DONE.

  EDIT: You should also place the supplied "qualoth.mod" and "fxhair.mod" files into \Documents\maya\201x\modules (create the "modules" folder if necessary).
