SOLIDWORKS SWOOD is a set of professional solutions for the furniture industry, to improve the process of designing and manufacturing furniture. SWOOD has two modules: SOLIDWORKS SWOOD Design SWOOD Design is a complement to the SOLIDWORKS software. It improves the processes of designing furniture in a 3D environment through the use of special functions that extend the standard capabilities of SOLIDWORKS.

Sets of prefabricated elements are configured with the expectation of improving automation and repeatability of design-related activities. The design of furniture in SolidWorks SWOOD Design comes down to creating or choosing a finished case, and then equipping it with furniture fittings, shelves, partitions and other elements that preserve the parameters and the connection with modifications and rebuilding of the model. Eccentric joints, pins? or lamellar inserts can also be used with the Drag & Drop function, generating connections between them and mounting holes.

SolidWorks SWOOD CAM software helps in the transition from the design phase to direct production. Due to the possibility of using the full scope of available technologies, the user is able to correctly program the CNC woodworking machine. The end result of working in SolidWorks SWOOD CAM is a generated NC program and documentation about production.

Thanks to SolidWorks SWOOD CAM, you can quickly identify your own cutting tools, add them to the library, and use them in subsequent processes. Thus, the created base of predefined tools, additionally enriched in the strategy of wood processing, makes it possible to use the "Drag & Drop" technology with the library of wood processing.
