3D-model – Carbine Sharps 1859
Sharbas' carbine is a carapine of the Christian Sharps system .52 caliber. The carbine used the Spencer bracket. When it was lowered, the bolt opened the charging chamber, where a unitary metal cartridge was inserted.
It was used in the civil war in the USA. They were armed with the "Arrows of the United States" [en] and snipers. Was popular with pioneers and immigrants in the era of conquering the "Wild West".

Christian Sharps patented his weapons in 1849, almost immediately it was produced. In 1882, the Sharps company ceased operations, but the weapons of this system remained in the hands of people for a long time and were actively used. During the entire production of weapons, Sharps bought 80,512 carbines and 9,141 rifles.
In 1874, from the Sharps carbine from a distance of 1538 yards (about 1406 m) Bill Dixon got into an Indian warrior, which for that time was a record of the range of fire.
