It is suspended and seems to fly or remains firmly anchored to the ground, as a natural extension of the floor. Moreover, combining the one and the other dimension, suggests a double depth. Aluminium, as light as it is resistant, hides a heart of stone and a solid worktop, three centimetres high. An important thickness that we cancelled and hid using just seven millimetres. Ao infinitesimal is in fact the part of the door that protrudes from the upper edge of the composition, containing the worktop and becoming functional even for the opening and closing of the modules on which we have not had to add handles or gola profiles. A kitchen of sculptural volumes, Maya can consist of single base units, resting on the ground or suspended, and double depth base units. The stone worktop is hidden from the surface of the aluminium door, which emerges, allowing opening without the use of handles or gola profiles.
