“When I was working on Papillo family, I realized that working on a mass of polyurethane foam is the iconic strength of B&B Italia. Hence, the idea for this design is to sculpt a form out of this material as if I was making a sculpture out of Carrara marble blocks. It is true to me that B&B Italia is a brand that creates sculpture in polyurethane. The name Harbor comes from a feeling of having a place to come back to and I also wanted this seat to have a feeling of wrapping around our body.”
